Last Day of School 2013-14

At the end of each school year, there are always many changes planned for the upcoming year. However, this year seems to have such a greater impact.

First, there will be no more setting up and tearing down each day!! We can't tell you how excited we are...

Kurt, Gabe, Sammy, and Tyler (of course there is me too!)

Second, we're graduating our first Kindergarten class. There will be 30 bright, young students moving into the First Grade!

Third, we will be in our OWN building. It has been so exciting to see God work! We will have all the classrooms we need to start the 2014-15 school year out on the Freedom property. All the building workers have been laboring hard to make this possible. We are beyond thankful for God's provision, as it has been such a struggle having school in Lima. Our own building provides a better learning environment, consistency, and more room to grow.

Parenthood

They say you'll never truly be ready, and I have to agree :)

There are only 2 more months for Kurt & I before we enter the next chapter of our lives. It's going to be crazy, but totally worth it! I'd love to squeeze in some more fun, exciting activities between now and then; however, I'm not sure how much longer I'll be mobile.

Most days I look down at my belly & think, "How can it get any bigger than this?!" Oh, but it can AND it will :) I could spend time telling you all the specifics of how uncomfortable I'm feeling, but with the reports from the last appointment, I have no right to complain. We were blessed to receive such a good feedback. The boys are growing (maybe even a little ahead of schedule) and I'm in great health. Each time we leave the doctor's office, I thank God for the continued prayers and support of all the people around us.

I have been blessed with such peace and trust in the One who made each and every one of us. He is in control of all things!

Swelling

I kind of knew this day would come, but I was also hoping that I might be the exception. No such luck :)

I noticed it just the other week when my feet felt extremely tight. It even looked like I could pop them with a pin! Of course, it has only gotten worse. Just yesterday, I could barely walk on my left one. It was so fat that it made my toes look like sausages :) I don't know how much more I can take. It is actually very uncomfortable & makes my feet kind of ache. I can't imagine dealing with it all the time.

I figure it's a result of the heat & being on my feet. Unfortunately, those things aren't going to be changing anytime soon :)
